We are pioneers in digital sustainability. We set new standards for the responsibility of digital services in our industry and implement these practices in our projects, influencing our clients' practices as well. Digital service responsibility encompasses all three areas of responsibility. These aspects should be considered holistically when evaluating a new service idea from the start, integrating them into procurement and design criteria. In existing services, we have demonstrably reduced emissions by up to 90% (a reduction in transferred data volume for one client's service). We have also developed our own tools to accelerate the identification of optimization targets and can efficiently produce analyses of the environmental responsibility of our clients' digital services, along with development plans to reduce emissions. We also have access to various experts specializing in different areas of digital service responsibility. Although our carbon footprint is significant and contributes to reducing society's overall carbon footprint, there is still much room for improvement in practice. By improving our practices, we can make a substantial impact for the future and the environment.
We also uphold high ethical standards. As artificial intelligence and data usage grow rapidly, ethical scrutiny of digital services becomes essential. Ethical digital services consider not only technical data protection and security issues but also diverse usage needs and methods.
Since the company's founding, we have operated as carbon neutral. This does not merely involve compensating for our own emissions but includes reviewing needs, minimizing the carbon footprint, and compensating for the remaining emissions. Our company has also received the Carbon Neutral certification from Koodia Suomesta ry and is committed to continuing carbon-neutral operations. Our carbon footprint is 9 tCO2 per year. The lifecycle of our end devices is maximized, and recycling processes are examined as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. Our offset budget is allocated to ethically vetted and concrete climate action projects. These measures ensure the greatest possible impact. We are also committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
